SanDisk Sansa e250 costs around $100-$110. It is 2GB which means it hold around 500 songs. It shows photos and has video playback. It has a nice vibrant screen, and it also has a voice recorder. There is an FM tuner from which you can listen to the radio or even record from. It has a MicroSD slot so you can expand the memory at a given time. It has a nice sleek design and has the same dimensions as the iPod Nano except for the thickness which it is more thicker.

I bought my girls, 12, 10, and 5 mp3 players at Walmart. They were $35 and RCA brand. You can add memory cards to them for more storage, and you can download them off your CD's. I searched for months, and this one came highly recommended.
