Simple because the movie script demands it!!
Well in actuality the movies cater to the public demand,, now see if you had to see the same saree clad women in movies would'nt you just stay at home instead,,everybody needs a change!! What you otherwise cant see in real life u can see in movies like beautiful locales, traffic less roads, sports cars, imported bikes and thus gorgeous women who dont mind showing a bit of skin..

Film heroines exposes their skin /body because they have been paid for that. These heroines wants to earn big quick money.

Because we are habituated to see that films. If we stop seeing such films, I am sure that directors also stop showing heroines in that fashion.
