suppose there 2 different species of frogs were crossed (one is green one is yellow), if u solve punnette square all the offspring will be green because green was a dominant trait. But then when the offsprings were crossed then all the frogs will be green and one will yellow. and now if the new offprings were crossed there will 2 yellow & 2 green, its just like the dominant traits will appear at the beginning and will be there in all generations of offsprings but as the yellow is recessive allele it will appear randomly in different genaration, may not even be passed t some generation., hope u got it
