why is the "play all" option in my music files don't work?

i've tries highlighting a selection but still no luck!!! ANY IDEAS?

How many files are you trying - I used to be able to "play all" but now I have 7000+ mp3s on my laptop playing everything overloads the poor thing and it won't do it anymore!

you don't mention what program you are using however there are plenty of other programs you can get to play your music files such as winamp and media jukebox
