Who is your favorite character, besides Dexter? What do you think will happen next?
My answers : Michael C. Hall is what's best about the show. I love Sgt Doakes cause he is the only one who thinks Dexter is weird. and next, the Ice Truck Killer gets Dexter's sister. Not killing her, just an arm or a leg..

There is something perverse and yet interesting about a man who in becoming a serial killer develops a talent to serve society. Not only is he a blood splatter expert but he also only kills bad guys. This is like a commentary on law enforcement in general.
I think I am most interested in his girlfriend because she seems to be drawn to bad boys even when they don't seem that way. Her ex husband seems to be great around the children as does Dexter but we know both are violent in their own ways.
I look forward to him and the Ice truck Killer sharing a cold one. But, really, what are the chances that Ken was cruising the personals each day to find out that Barbie was all broken up over him leaving her in pieces? And don't you think that the police would have thought to look for a man with an enormouse walk in cooler in his house or apartment? I think that might have been some where on my list of theings to do.
I'll give you a thought to twist on. How did the killer learn so mouch about Dexter's childhood? I have a suspicion that he is related to somebody on the force, perhaps the captain, who seems oddly charitable to Dexter's sister. I also think the killer is related to Dexter's first victim. Think about that for a while.

I LOVE this show! Michael C. Hall is awesome & what a great concept for a show. I like all the characters - Maria LaGuerta cracks me up, but the sister is whiny. I guessed who the Ice Truck killer was before they let on - I wonder what's gonna happen next, when he meets Dexter!

I like the fact that he works with the cops and yet he is a very shady character. They don't know that he has a double life. I'm not sure of his name but the black detective that is always on Dexter's back is my favourite. He hates Dexter but I think he likes his sister though.

I really liked the books. The show follows fairly close to them. I like the way Dexter interacts with everyone as he trys to "fit in" with regular people. Plus, he gets the bad guy who would have normally slipped through the cracks.
