Opinions about the actual musicians? No...there's no way that I would be able to do that. Opinions about
their music, before hearing it...kinda sorta. There are only a few rap/hip hop artists that I like, because honestly, almost all of the music sounds the same to me

Never, never, never! I form opinions about the music first ~ that might be why I love so much different stuff and why I only like certain songs from some musicians.

Not really, not unless they are active politically. If that's the case then I may agree, or disagree with their stances but that doesn't affect my ear for music. I listen to a band, or a solo artist, without forming an opinion on anything else except their songs.

nope.

I hear the music first and foremost.

in fact, a lot of times I couldn't pick out a musician or band from a line-up.... I have no idea what they look like, just love the sound.
I love to listen to Linkin Park and the Offspring, but if one of the band bumped into me on the street, I wouldn't know it.

Did it once and learned a valuable lesson cause 20 years later I am still madly in love with the red Hot Chili Peppers. Definitely in my top 5 bands. But I was 14 when I first saw a picture of them and thought they had to be untalented and terrible. I was TRULY off base with that one and I have not done it since.

Yep. Dragon forms an opinion as soon as she sees what they look like, even if she's never heard their music.

Lots of times, and usually my first opinion is wrong once I've heard their music.

One guy and i regret it because he's the best thing to happen to Canadian pop music since the Tragically Hip.

That would be Sam Roberts.
