give them a live rabbit to sharpen them up , but not very often or you'll spoil them and they won't chase at the track.

Why the f* would you want to be so cruel? Greyhound racing is a horrid sport, secondly, if you feel you must get into it, why not train with something that may have the odour of meat but can be pulled along on a rope?
Imagine a large sack filled with rags, and inside the one with th odour, suspended from a trolley type clothes line.

None, they go a lot better on fish based cerial food made up and stuffed into a drag along fur. ( you can scream like a stuck pig when they catch it for effect if you want ! ) Plus you don't have to spend a fourtune on shifting the worms that they will pick up .

with an iffy runner, running on live game can ruin them for a lure- the best is a jacl-a- lure with a hamberger pocket
