Okay, so I can admit I have some serious issues. I have had anorexia for about 8 years now, and have been experimenting with bulimia. The thing is, whenever I try to eat something, I freak out and have a panic attack, and then go throw up. So, does throwing up what I just ate really keep the weight off? The food doesn't digest, so it is just tricking my body in to thinking it has eaten? Am I right? Any fellow strugglers or those recovered, your advice on this is greatly appreciated.

Yes, you will not gain weight if your food isn't able to digest. This is a serious problem for you and I hope you're able to overcome it. One other thing to consider when you vomit repeatedly... the acid from your stomach will eat the enamel off your teeth... be careful. Take care, dear

Yes throwing up after you eat does make you lose weight after some time but I wouldn't advise that you start this or if you have already then you need to get some help to stop. I have been recovering from this for over 10 years now. I threw up so much that the acid rotted out my teeth and I had to have all of them pulled and had to have dentures. You also could die from this disease. I was hospitalized for several months because I had lost so much weight that my ribs where showing through my skin. It took alot of time to recover but I have. Please get help if your doing this to yourself. Good luck. There are better ways to lose weight.

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.
1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.
2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.
3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.
These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

Throwing up what you just ate leads to a false sense of weight loss which causes more medical problems in the long run if help is not attained and weight is not lost in a healthy way , the body suffers until it breaks down (mostly in a bad way) (Lack of energy not to mention other problems.) The body gets energy from food so when the food is not there the body is actually being overworked and this may lead to other health problems.

What's the point of eating if you're just gonna throw it up. Short term weight loss yes, Long term? No. Soon as you've lost the weight you want and start eating again you will just put your weight back on. And throwing up causes the teeth to rot. Don't cheat weight loss do it propley eat three healthy meals and exercise for 45mins.

Sweetie, you just need to see a doctor and get a little help. if doctors freak you out maybe someone you trust to help you and keep you accountable of you not throwing up would be great but if you cant do it that way see a doctor ok sweetie? Throwing up will eventually hurt you. the acid produced in your stomach will go up your esophagus and eventually eat it out overtime. You will bleed out.. Dont do that. You wont loose way the healthy way but only get ill and lead to death. its serious. I will suggewst you eat and eat well because all food is good for you, and it all contains everything your body needs to stay healthy. If you want to watch your weight all you have to do is 20 min workout daily and eat anything but ONLY when your stomach growls for food and drink water (non-carbonated drinks, non sweetened) in between bites. You will get satisfied and you will eat a good amount, and your body will get satisfied quickly. This will work. trust me.

I have heard that throwing up, brings the acid from your stomach up into your throat and motuh. This will erode away your esoficus, (I know I didn't spell it right) and the enamel from your teeth. I use to throw up, to relieve the stress from migraine headaches. I know it sounds weird, but if I threw up, the pain from my headache would stop throbbing so bad for a while. Later I deveoped Gastro reflux and sometime I can't swallow my food, not to mention all dental problems I have with my teeth now. I never lost weight, by the way. TO AVOID PANIC ATTACKS, you can take medicine for this, then maybe you won't want to throw up your problems instead. I don't know I was just trying to relieve pain from a migraine.
