Will somebody cheer me up?

Question

My grandma just called me and told me that my uncle is in the hospital for a busted large intestine, and he may not make it. I'm worried and really upset. Will somebody please say something to cheer me up?

I dont know how much cheer i can bring ya love but i think he will make it. Try to be as patient as ya can, and the more information you have the better you will feel. Often these situations bother us the most because we are helpless. There is nothing we can do to make this situation better personally, at least not to benefit the person in the position of your uncle.
You could call the doctor (or any doctor) and ask them for progress or ask them about the perforated intestine and the liklihood that he will be ok. Doctors are often very honest and encouraging, after all they are in the business of saving lives.

Sure what can I say to cheer you up. Let me think now Hmmmm. OK how about some blonde jokes. I'm a blonde so I know a few blonde jokes. Did you hear about the blonde that got fired from the M&M factory? Yeah she started throwing away the W"s. What do you call a brunette between 2 blondes? An intrepreter. How can you tell that a blonde has been at the computer screen? By the white out on the screen. Did you hear about the blonde that died her hair brown? Yeah she wanted artificial intelligance. well, the intestines carry a lot of "germs" and when it "busts" all those germs go into his bloodstream..it is very dangerous, but he is in the hospital, and i'm sure they are treating him with lots of intraveinous anti-biotics..i assume they have surgically repaired the intestine..so, at this point, all you can do is hope and pray that he will recover. i hope all turns out well and take care..try to get your mind off of it and if you smile, maybe u can trick your mind...lol...good luck to him.

There is no sense in saying "I'm so sorry to hear that." It never works. So how about a joke:
