My IP was stolen!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
my ip is static...can't change it!i called ISP but they are nowhere to be found..so until then what can be done?if any?!if i use a proxy would that help?or it's useless since the person ALREADY knows my IP?can this person mess up with my IP,getting me into trouble?>>debts..etc??how about the firewall that i recently installed?would it stop him from accessing my PC?
i need help in understanding what exactly are the risks..
can this person use my IP WHENEVER wants to?

Your IP can not be stolen!!!! the person might know it, but they can't use it! Calm down! just turn off your computer when you are not using it.....

I agree you IP can not be stolen,It can be found by people just by sending them email,Your ip is your Internet service provider.If you are running windows XP make sure you have the windows service pack installed here is the link
