i am the REAL santa have been for about 300 years.

Yep, I've been both Santa and Mrs Claus when I belonged to the Jaycees and helped deliver the Marines Toys for Tots. I thought I had the Ho Ho Ho's in a deep voice pretty good until some of the kids said, "I think Santa had a sex change operation"!
Overall it was an interesting experience. The Jaycees match up the letters written to Santa asking for presents with the donations collected by the Marines. Most often the kids asked for things that weren't donated, like big ticket item electronics. Many asked for simple everyday things like art supplies, notebooks, dolls, balls, sports equipment, etc. Sadly, many asked for food as most of the neighborhoods we delivered to were economically depressed.

No but my hubby has a few times, most of the kids just say what they want, the tiny ones usually bawl their eyes out as their terrified of Santa, the older ones try to pull his beard off and say your not the real Santa so there, one year our nephew recognised my hubby and shouted right across the room, hey everyone that's my uncle Ben, doesn't he look silly, out of the mouths of kids.

I'd love to be Santa one day, but then again I'm a woman so they might disappointed. Then their mums might come after me for upsetting their kids!
Barbie, batman, a Dad, money, bike are usual requests! from my friends kids to Santa.
