I want to hook it up in my bedroom. I have a big screen HD TV in the living room.
but i want to play in the bedroom

no you don't - but it just makes the graphics on the games look better. The Xbox 360, was designed for a HD TV, but will work on any TV

I HAVE IT AND THERE IS A SWITCH FOR REGULAR TV AND HDTV
I HATE WHEN PS3 "FANATICS" THINK THE PS3 IS SOOOO GOOD WHEN THE 360 IS SOOO MUCH MORE VERSATILE AND IT IS ALREADY IN FULL SWING WHEN THE PS3 IS JUST GETTING STARTED. SONY IS JUST TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH MICROSOFT AND NINTENDO
PS3 IS A JOKE DO NOT BUY IT!

but playstation 2 had something to build off of
xbox was a new system
now that xbox has a reputation its a different story
although the ps3 probably will have more sales because all the loyal customers, which is understandable
i just dont get why someone would need all these blu ray players and hdwhatever proccessor
the 360 is more sensible to me

XBOX isnt even close!!!
XBOX 360 is a real good machine tho...but i bet PS3 is gna beat it when it releases.....again :D
(Srry for posting this ..it isnt relevant to the question ) BUt no...u dont need an HD TV for the xbox360.
