The thought-provoking question probably occurred to those people BEFORE they were fired. But they knew that asking such questions might CAUSE them to be fired. After they were FIRED ANYWAY, there was no more reason for them to be silent, and so the thought-provoking question appeared.

Are you speaking of yourself? Where you fired? sorry. dont know the answer, maybe its seething within inside of the person and with all the emotions that are running through their heads and hearts a good questions pops out.
