Hyperpigmentation in the form of the 'brown line' is called the 'linea nigra'. Not all women experience this, but some pregnant women experience this as early as the 2nd month. Women on oral contraceptives may also experience hyperpigmentation. The mask of pregnancy (aka chloasma) is another common form of hyperpigmentation and occurs usually on the forehead, cheeks, and nose.

probably. I have never heard of anyone getting this line unless she is pregnant.
Visit a doctor soon so they can run the regular tests to make sure you and baby stay healthy as possible - especially if you take any type of prescription meds. Start taking a multi-vitamin now if you aren't already taking pre-natal vitamins. Getting enough folic acid (like that in beans, and citrus juice) is important in the first trimester. You will need to make sure you have plenty of iron to avoid anemia.
Eat healty, take time to do stretching exercises (ask your doctor about an exercise plan) and enjoy what is going on with your body.

I don't mean to sound mean but we get 20 of these "omg I think I'm pregnant what do you think"'s every hour. If yout hink you are pregnant take a pregnancy test. If its negative and you just think you are go get a blood test done. If thats negative you are not pregnant. The likeliness of those 2 test being wrong are none.

the light brown line does not always mean that you are. If you feel like you are you should take a home test. BEST WISHES

That line is caused by hormones, most women have it all the time, not just during pregnancy.
Take a test to find out if you're pregnant. There is no magical way to tell.

I would say take a pregnancy test. From what I have heard though a line wouldn't show up until later in a pregnancy. I am almost halfway through my pregnancy and still don't have one.
