i am really undecided between selling it on black friday and right before christmas. i was leaning toward near xmas, but sony recently announced it was flying in weekly supplies to stores and would have 1 million by the end of the year. but i still think the demand is greater than the supply. i appreciate any advice on this =D

I think the earlier you sell it, the greater the demand would be. As new ps3s come in, less people will need them, which will drive the price down. Therefore you should probably sell it on black Friday weekend.

I would wait till xmas as there will definetly be a shortage as sony is having production problems, apparently something like half of the blue laser diodes (they are needed for the blu-ray drive) that are being produced, don't work. So as well as losing loads of money, they won't have enough PS3's to go around come xmas.

And you can bet some rich, spoiled-brats will be wailing to mummy and daddy if they can't get one, so they (or anyone else) should be prepared to pay more to secure one as an xmas present

a million) i'm uncertain approximately Sony doing that. 2) the hot Xbox 360s have the Jasper chipset meaning that RROD's are unprecedented. 3) PS3 comes with value cables, Xbox only comes with extensive-unfold batteries yet you may purchase rechargeable batteries. 4) Xbox has a bigger on line community and extra unique upload-on content than PS3 and demos tend to return out on Xbox stay in the past PSN.

I'd say sell it now, and take what you can get. Too close to christmas, people have already started getting the next best thing because they don't want to end up with getting nothing for whoever they are looking for. And if any bugs show up in the new systems later, you'd have to sell a bugged system. If you are going to sell it, don't get too greedy, and be happy with the extra cash you get.
