You'll find that for the most part films of this nature take alittle to a large amount of artistic license. This is an attempt to keep you interested. The movie "Troy" is schlock. There are some older ones out there that are superb and right on the money. "Nicholas and Alexandra" was a British film about the last Czr and Czarina of Russia (The Romanovs). Well written and its available on tape. There have been many HBO movies that are bios on people like Stalin (the name of the movie), Roy Cohn (Citizen Cohn and my avatar which was good ole Roy about two weeks before he died of AIDS...no man more deservedly should have died than him), There was one on Lyndon Johnson and his involvement with the escalation of troops in Vietnam and his relationship with Robert MacNamara) and The Missles of October...the Cuban Missle Crisis. DO NOT waste your time with that lousy Kevin Costner movie that dealt with the same subject. His character was Kenny O'Donnel who had little to do with that other than some behind the scenes junk. Again..schlock.

how historic? I recommend, how approximately historic circumstances? cos in spite of if that's ok, i could propose 'Alexander' by utilising Oliver Stone. you may write how arguable that's, and study the tale line in the movie with the 'real historic previous'. in case you write approximately 'Alexander', i will even enable you to on the essay, cos i like it plenty! :p
