If they aren't copy protected, copy them with Windows explorer.
If protected, get AnyDVD from Slysoft (21 day free trial).

Well to tell you the truth,if you rent a DVD,and then u want to copy or burn them on your hard drive,you cant i tried it,and he reason you cant is because its protected from people trying to copy it,and well you cant only if u download the movies,like frome limewire,or kazaa,but i say dont download them because there not good high quality,hope this helps.

AnyDVD, or RipIt4Me (I use) like Heinz said, but use it in conjunction with DVDshrink to get rid of regions and other things =). Look on the AfterDawn site for guides you'll need to read up a bit.
