i dont think clay being gay is the question. I have yet to met anyone who shakes with their left hand which is the hand clay put over kelly's mouth. Yes rosie took it alittle far with the homophob comments. what clay did putting his left hand over her mouth should not reflect on him bring southern when the jersery(where kelly ripa is from) cow wont shut up to give anyone else a chance to speak .Where is her since of manners. She isnt the host of the only show, she and whomever are co hosts. But then again i think kelly ripa is annoying and havent watched the show since i was a child. I dont like clay either i just so you know. And i totally indiffernt to rosie.

I really could careless who is a homophob and who isn't. That is a stupid term anyway.

Phobic means- Fear Of

Therefore Homophobic means that you are afraid of Gay people. Most people who are called Homophobs just disagree with the lifestyle, they aren't afraid of gay people.

Edit***

So I just read the article you posted. I Think that Rosie is overreacting. Clay Aiken was clearly being rude, and Kelly responded the way should should have. If regis would have done that, she probably would have said the same thing to him. Rosie is just overly sensitive. It is comments, like what she said about Kelly that keep the hatred going. Kelly said nothing about him being gay. How did she get that one. I think Rosie is just trying to pick a fight.

Kelly Ripa is just a drama queen...and HER behaviour was far worse than his. Talk about over reacting. He shouldn't have done that...no. But really..and clearly he meant no disrespect. Kelly Ripa should be ashamed of herself BigTime for her drama "bow to the queen" attitude...and grow a little bit of humility. Now whether she is homophobic..and that is the real reason she was so over the top out of the ordinary freaked out over such a small thing ...I don't know..only she does. But no matter her motives - her behavior was bad ..and even more unprofessional than his was. And she's been in the business a long long time and is much older than he is - he may not have known better or how to behave...but you know what? She should have. Shame on her. As for Rosy...she just needs to keep her nosy miss rosy nose outta everyone else's business.

You know Clay was shaking the audience hands before. I don't blame Kelly not wanting someones hand over her mouth with so many germs going around. Rosie was out of line acusing Kelly of being homophobic.

The thing that I question is why did she eagerly kiss Mario Lopez on the lips. She didn't know where Mario's mouth had been. She wasn't thinking about cold and flu season then. But then again it could have been that she was just offended that Aiken was trying to quiet her on her own show. I know that Mario is so hot you could lick him from head to toe and Clay isn't but that's not the point.

Germaphob at best.
I think it is gross when I touched something out in public, and I put my own hand to my mouth.
Yuck!! the stories I hear about some people make my skin want to crawl.
I would have slapped that hand before it got even near my mouth, and I would sue Rosie for slander!

I think that Kelly Ripa should be ashamed of herself. She blew it way out of proportion (as did the media). Did you watch the show? Clay couldn't get a word in edgewise. I don't like any ones hand in my face either, but give me a break its not that big of a deal.

I agree with you completly. Especially when you don't nessecarily know whether or not that person has watched their hands recently. I don't think that Kelly is a homophob at all, that is just typicalcourtesy to not put your hands in someone elses face.

no matter if it really is a fistfight, Rosie wins basic. no matter if it really is a "speaking" contest then previous huge mouth Rosie wins that one actual, too. yet no matter if it really is a elegance contest, Kelly is the unquestioned winner. that's no longer even close... :P .

I'd say became a ho about the time that she was able to afford a house in "the Hamptons".
A topic she never gets tired of bringing up. It's never she and Mark went back to their home for the week-end....it's always, they went to "the Hamptons".
Something I personally, am tired of hearing about.
