Man in the mirror question?

I was wondering if the movie called {Man In The Mirror} about Michael Jackson life was approved by him? It was a VH1 movie! Thanks!

I am not really to sure because I was trying to look it up to find out but you would think that it would have to be because I don't believe the could put it on TV if it was not I would think if it was not approved he could sue them.

I thought the movie was great, but I was so distracted by the guy playing Michael Jackson because he was so masculine!
