It's a brown pinstripe. I should also clarify that it's for a holiday party

go for either a baby blue shirt, or a sorbet orange one. if its the blue shirt, wear a purple tie, and if you pick the orange one, wear a maroon tie.
good luck

Although it's not necessary to match your date's dress (uh... this isn't a prom, right?) it could be a nice touch - if that's what the both of you are into. Because she's wearing a black and white dress, wearing a pastelish shirt wouldn't match. If it's an evening wedding, you can wear a black shirt. Black shirts under suits - esp. tuxedos is very fashionable. Also, who said you had to wear a tie? Ties aren't always necessary - even in formal wear. You just have to know how to put your ensemble together. Now, if a tie is a must, then pair it w/the tie you have as it'll give a hint of color - provided it's not a tie that's vomiting w/the pink color. Tip: Take the suit jacket to the store w/you so you'll know exactly how it'll look.

It depends on whether you're going to the office or going out to dinner. If the office, nothing too bright - light blue shirt, tie with darker blue (strip is ok) and burgundy or muted red. A good white cotton is ok for the shirt too, but the tie should be darker than the one with the blue shirt. Now, for evening wear, a rose-colored shirt, tie silver with green or brown.

I would have to say to stick with either a charcoal or brown shirt with a pink tie. You don't want to be too colorful and look like an M&M.

I think red really looks good with gray. Try grey shirt and a red tie.

you should wear a black shirt and a really brightly colored tie... like neon pink or bright yellow, or blue or something like that. that would be so hot
