Non-mammalian animals include things like arthropods, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and any other animals that are not mammals, there is no real collective term for them other than Non-Mammalian, but they have their own groupings of class depending on which organsim you are talking about.
hope this helps!

Just to clear things up, marsupials ARE mammals. Mammals are warm blooded, have hair, have four chambered hearts, have back bones, have three bones in their inner ears, have jaws that have just one bone on either side and nurse their young. They are divided into placental animals, which are animals whose offspring are fed in their body by a placenta, marsupials, who don't have a placenta and have a very short gestation period - their babies are only about the size of a peanut when born- and monotremes, which are mammals that lay eggs. There are only two species of monotremes, the duck-billed platypus and the spiny anteater.
If you are in the lower grades, probably what your teacher wants is
amphibians
reptiles
birds
fish
And, again, just to clarify, not all animals that are warm blooded are mammals, although all mammals are warm blooded. Birds are also warm blooded.

Come on, stop making stuff up people.
Mammals are animals that belong to the biological Class "mammalia." If you are not old enough to understand biological classification, wait until you get it in school.
All living things have a biological classification, and they are in order from broadest to narrowest:
Kingdom, Phylum (division), Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species.
Mammals are only animals that are in the Animal KINGDOM, the Chordata (vertibrate) PHYLUM, and the Mammalia CLASS.
There are many other classifications of animals both vertebrate and invertebrate.
For instance, a fly is in the CLASS Insecta but is not a Chordata.

A mammal is an animal (humans included) which gives birth to live young - eg, do not lay eggs - so you cannot include marsupials in that list.
Try reptiles, fish and birds.

Depends on what it is, a selection follows:
insects
amphibians
reptiles
birds
marsupials
bacteria
Mammals are so called because the females have mammary glands (i.e. a way to feed milk to their young).

Well, a mammal is an animal that nurses it's young (feeds with boobies), everything else is non-mammalian - reptiles, birds, crusteans, arthropods, insects, etc......
