Well first the investors give the money, then in this case, the show became a HUGE hit so now they can charge advertisers lots of $$ and the advertisers will pay because millions of people are watching. A 30 second commercial probably brings in a good $$ 100-200K about 15 minutes of commericals during an hour makes 6 million an episode.
Those are fake numbers but it was just an example of how it works.

Because it's reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally expensive to have commercials on tv. Half od the money that's given away is just from the advertisement that's shown on the commercial breaks....
During the superbowl, companies pay hundreds of millions of dollars for a commercial spot....
Seriously...
I wish they'd throw some money my way..

It costs less to make than a regular show, no writers, less crew, sets and time spent filming. Suppose they get $25,000 for each 30 second ad (estimate) and the Lucky Case game pays for itself because a lot of people call in.

Don't know, but my husband is CONVINCED the cases are rigged on the show. He believes they have the ability to change the numbers in the boxes.
