Why do young people like bubble gum music?

And then when people get older, they are ashamed that they liked this stuff?

Such as boy bands?

So many girls love boy bands when they are pre-teens and so on.

And then when they get older, they pretend they never liked this stuff. Why doest this stuff attract young people? Why does it attract anyone at all period ?

it is all that their attention spans can hold. also, these songs require no thinking, and kids hate thinking

That's the basics of it anyways, it's like who wants to be the as***** left alone on the deserted island for a couple of years before the row boat comes along. They do it because they want to fit in and not be left out because everyone around them likes the whole idea of that sort of music.
