It could run on that, but I can say from experience that it is going to run very slowly on a system like that. You really need a faster processor for it to work well. You are also probably going to need more RAM and a better video card, because those will also bog it down. I ran it on a 2ghz celeron with 512MB of RAM, which also had a low end video card, and it was still pretty choppy, and I didn't like playing it on that computer. So what you need is really all three, a faster processor, more RAM, and a good video card. Wish I had better news for you. Sorry.

No, Sorry You need to Upgrade Your Computer
I use To Have old pc With 256 DDR Ram And it was So Slow That i had to Upgrade Now I got 2 GB RAM AND Geforce 6600 512MB Pci Express Quality Is highest As Possible.

my friends have the sims2 on their laptop. It made the laptop run a little slower though. The laptop is about 2 years old. May not run on an older computer.

This is a lousy source but sometimes works... www.srtest.com try and if it says it doesn't it might... LOL but yes it will run.. Very very very slowly, glitching
