Well, when I asked my sister what I could do to be closer to my family,(we were sperated when my parents divorced when I was 11, and my 2 older sisters and father stayed together and still get together and keep in touch) she said "face it you have no family." That was pretty shocking and it really hurt me. My mom passed away a long time ago, and I feel bad for my daughter that she has no family. I was trying to reach out and got punched in the gut.

I learned three years ago that my mother is a prostitute, this was very shocking, I was very upset about this for a very long time. I have no choice but to accept this, my mother refuses help from me. All I can do pray she makes it through the night.

The most shocking thing I have found out(and I just found this out a few weeks ago), was that my dad use to belong to a swingers group!

probably when I learned that my great grandmother was a serial killer in the early 1900's, then died after labotomy complications in an asylum.
I think it explains a lot about my personality
nothing shocks me anymore, but I do get amused easily

At age 60, Papa is a registered sex offender, petty shoplifter, and drunken homeless person who routinely drives uninsured and unlicensed, and probably drunk.
My uncle (by marriage) probably had sex with my teenage sister on her oft visits to their farm to ride horses. Both are now dead.
