If you even suspect it's a disease, you should take her out of the tank and away from your other turtle. You're going to need to have her looked at. If you have pet store near by that specializes in reptiles, you can take her there. If not, your best bet is a vet.

Please separate the two turtles- turtles need their own tanks and privacy and unless raised together are not comfortable with moving in with a strange turtles.

It is most likely that the turtles were fighting. Believe it or not- even a baby turtle can be agressive!

Put the turtle into another container for now- then purchase a tank minimum 20 gallons.Fill up the water half way and place a baskiing rock under a light. He should thrive there.

Also take him to the vet to check on his injuries. He could be really hurt.

Good luck :)

Put it in its own tank for now. hopefully the crack and the missing nails is just a vitamin/calcium deficiency and this will heal over time while you take better care of it. maybe find a vet in your area that deals with reptiles to take a look at it.

Good luck and good job saving it. hope it does ok.

She needs to go to a vet. It sounds bad and that she was neglected very much. If you can't afford a vet, surf around on the net and try to find an orginiazation that rescues exotic animals.

call the cops are something. those people are practicing animal cruelty. as for the turtle, ask a pet shop, or a vet.

Umm I would take it to the vet just to make sure.
