my mothers second name is Sharma, my dads was Singh,
and for some reason mine is ''Benang'', i ask my mom why and she says it was my dads second name and that Singh was his middle name, so what the hell am i? whats my 2nd name? do i just pick my own ? what do i do ? and are people allowed to just have one first name and no second name ?

There are thousands of people who's 'second' name (Surname) is made up of the fathers surname and the mothers surname.
In real English this type of name is called a 'double-barrelled' name.
This was well known in the aristocracy and is making a comeback among Asian mixed marriages. There is no shame whatsoever in this. It shows respect of the mother and the father who are the cause of your being in this world.
So try Mr Sharma-Singh, see rolls of the tongue so easily.
You can have it changed [legally] to this by Deed Poll.

I don't know any answers to the questions before the last one, but I can answer it: There are performers that only have one name: Cher, Madonna, Shakira, Prince (He's had quite a few different ones, but this is the most-known), etc.

well your mum said its from your dads name so is it possible your dad cauld of changed his name so u still are a benang but you rdad prob just changed dont get upset tho

Are you talking about a middle name? You don't have to have one. You can change your name if you don't like it though.
