You cant hide your true self too long, it will come out eventually. The best time to do it is when everyone is around so you can share your feelings with them all there, and people wont be able to gossip and say things like omg he or she did this at this time. You will have everyone there so they can ask questions if needed (prolly not). Good Luck!

Well you can choose one of three options. You can either tell them and hope for the best but if your family is like mines you probably don't know what the out come will be. Like with my family i know every single one of them just don't like gay people some of them absolutely hate gay people. But i believe that most of them will love me no matter what and be able to get past it. So like me i know that your families reaction is what you are most concerned about. And things like how will they treat you and what will they say after they know your true sexual orientation. Or you could wait and wait and wait until you think it's the perfect time to tell them. But i think there is no perfect time to tell them something like this. Or option #3 you could never tell them and leave it at that but how would that effect you, not having the courage to tell them who you are. Now some people feel that their sexual orientation is there business and know one elses and have never told anyone, that they haven't had homosexual sex with, about themselve and are totally happy and secure with who they are. I personally think you should just tell them and see their reactions to it. Some will be bad and some will be good but i believe in telling them you will be 100% secure with who you are and lead a happier life. But anyway i am no genius but i do know one and you should absolutely ask him for his opinion. His screen name is Puffy and when i say genius i mean he's a genius. Good Luck with whatever you choose to do we all deserve happiness.

There is no best way to come out of the closet, but you will do it when you are ready. You will know when is the right time to say it. Being honest with yourself and family is the best way to live a long and prosper life.

Even though I'm straight and catholic I wish the best. Anyways if you are grown, you should talk to your parents in way that they can be understanding. But if you are not grown, I would wait until you are. You should get your life in order first before your personal issues

just take your time...to decide on when you will come out..
but if your not ready you still have time..just prepared for it..
it is better to be prepared...so you know what to answer and you can defend yourself on them..
that you need to be you..the real you..
my brother is also a gay like you..but my parents understand him well...
so i dont really know what is your feeling right now..
but ive seen so many happenings like on you..
so dont be afraid....
the truth will set you free..and will complete your life...
goodluck...godbless...
