Well this year for Christmas I don't know what I should get for my mom's Chistmas present. Got any ideas?

Mom's like technology too. If she has a cell phone maybe get her accessories for one or get her a newer one with bling customized

Those new digital photo frames are fantastic:

Gift certificates for beauty treatments, massage or pedicure

Crocs shoes - I love them and I have 15 pairs.

Expensive chocolate truffles from Harry & David

Take Mom out to a great dinner and bring her a coursage.

Write Mom a nice letter and tell her all the things you love about her and thank her for raising you- this is worth more than money and you will be glad you did this in the future

Mom's want to know you love them and they want to see you often. I sure miss my Mom every day and she's been gone almost ten years.

What does she like?
Is she a busy person?
I am a busy Mom, what I like best is to have someone else do the cooking and the cleaning, if just for one meal. You could give her a "certificate" that she can redeem for cooking or cleaning, or a nice meal out. I LOVE that sort of stuff.

Or - be especially attentive to your Mom, she may say casually in a conversation with you, that she needs or wants something. Take note! The nicest present is a well thought out one.
Hope this helps, it is nice of you to think of your Mom!

I am a mom,,too..and a grandmother. You don't say how old you are, or your budget range, or if your mom is well-off and has everything. No one can suggest a purchased gift without knowing this. However, it is true that any loving mother does not need a gift in a Tiffany box to be happy. When kids are small (up to university graduate), a handmade card with a promise to clean your room without being told is wonderful! If your kids have good incomes and get happy by buying you things, then a thoughtful mom should let them know if she collects something, or needs something! My kids beg me to tell them what I need/want, and then I have to pledge not to buy it myself before Christmas. Last year I said I just wanted to spend christmas with them and they drove 1000 miles to spend the holiday with us. Impossible for them this year so I have told them that I'd be thrilled with an electric popcorn popper and dad loves gift certificates to Chapters-Indigo books. As for my own parents, they are seniors on a fixed income, in their 80's , and decorating, etc. tires them out. This week I mailed them a small decorated "dancing tree" with extra batteries and told them to open and enjoy now. Each year I buy a lovely calendar and, before giving to them, I write in all family member's birthdays and anniversaries complete with ages. They said this is their favorite gift of all! They love 2 hours away by plane and each year I use my airline points to fly them here for a visit. Then I spoil them totally, making full course dinners each night with their favorites. My brothers buy our parents certificates to coffee shops, low-cost restaurants like Denny's and IHOP - so they can go out often and not worry! If you are working and flush with cash - a manicure and/or pedicure to a salon close to mom's house (that is important) is a treat for any mom, any age!

1. Does she collect anything?

I2. f she makes her living on her feet she might appreciate a gift certificate for a massage.

3. There is no substitute for time spent together, or something you made. My Mom kept everything I had ever made her from kindergarten till the last thing I made her for her birthday in '03.

I know that this Mom loves anything her child makes for her.
If you are little, make her a picture, or a card, anything that shows your love and creativity.
If you are a little older, you can still make her something, you can clean the house for her, or her car, make her a meal.
You don't always have to spend money to give someone a truly meaningful gift.

Get her a gift certificate to a local spa, masseuse, or hair stylist. Or to go get her nails done. Mom's love stuff like that. Don't try to get her any kind of accesory (i.e. purse, jewelry, etc.) because mom's don't usually like what their kids buy them in that department, but end up keeping it out of guilt (I know, because I'm a mom). Good luck!

Never under estimate the power of jewelry. I think that all Mom's loved to be spoiled in jewels!
