To do that you would have to grow turkeys with no legs or thighs. I like the dark meat.

Because the meat that you eat is the muscle of the turkey. In all animals there are two different kinds of muscle light (fast twitch)- for sprints and short burts of energy and dark (slow twitch)- which is good for long distance running. So that is your white and dark meat. Farmers can't come up with an all white meat turkey because the amount of dark or white meat/muscle is purley genetics. There is little that you can do to change that. Happy Thanksgiving

I prefer white meat myself, but alot of the flavor comes from the dark meat and it's juicier.

They could, but if they did we would have all of the Environmentalist saying were messing with nature, and then there would be protests.... and then there would be a proposal in the next election to ban the genetic mutation of turkeys for white meat birds.

Oh, come on. Dark meat is the best! More juicier, white meat is always drier with less flavor. Scientists mess with Mother Nature too much already.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Well, for one thing, turkeys would look pretty silly without legs and wings, don't you think?

Dark meat is way better than white meat. It has so much more flavor!

Because turkeys--uncooperative wretches that they are--insist on WALKING. (How dare they!) You can purchase turkey breasts, by themselves and cook those instead of the whole bird.
