No. Give your skin a break. You might like the way you look, now, but you won't like the way you look when you get a little older. Fake a tan if you feel you have to have one.

Personally, I think having a noticeable tan in the winter is kind of fake. A very light tan is fine, and I say go with it if it makes you feel better. But don't go overboard, because everyone knows that your tan isn't natural...and fake tans, like fake nails or platform shoes, send a message that isn't always positive.

I used to only tan in the summer, but I got a skin check by a dematologist and now I have some suspicious spots that must be removed before they can turn cancerous. So now I no longer tan at all :-( I have decided to only use "fake bake" so I look tan.
I like Tan Towels, btw.
I am only telling you this, so maybe you'll think twice about tanning... I know it looks good, but is it really worth it?

Don't do a tanning booth you can go to the pool during summer and your tan will stay with you and it doesn't mess up your skin as much it might look Good now but later on your skin will look like leather so my advice it just don't do artificial tanning

You want the leather look? Seriously, your skin can take just so much tanning. To keep your good looks longer, take a break from the tanning during the winter. Otherwise you might have leather skin by the time you are 35. You could also develop skin cancer.

Well usually in the winter people tend to lighten up, so it really wouldn't be worth tanning in the winter if after you do in a while you'll just go back to your same skin color..

Girl... listen... tanning will give you cancer. What you should use is a skin cream with a natural tanner in it. What it does is it brings out your darker skin tone to make you look tan. I believe Jergens natural glow is one, but you can buy different kinds of them by the lotions, soap, etc. at stores.

Ultra violet light is what causes your body to make vitamin D. most people don't get enough sun in the Winter, and therefore lack in vitamin D. Go ahead and do it, Just don't over do.
