i use cingular and it is very good, especially on highways just about anywhere. but verizon has the widest network. cingular is catching up very quickly though. those are definitely the top two, choose one.

Assuming you mean quality of a voice connection (dropped calls), it depends on the area since this will depend on the number of towers that are built to support a certain level of network subscribers. For example, Verizon is probably the best in the NYC area. In certain areas in downtown Los Angeles, I get lousy (almost non-existent) coverage from Cingular.

I post this all the time - Consumer Reports recommends Verizon. For JD Power, T-Mobile and Verizon ranked the best.

I haven't seen anything positive about Cingular except for the phony survey they had published about fewest dropped calls. I guess they will have fewer dropped calls if the calls don't even connect in the first place!

I would say that VERIZON has the best coverage ever. Just not on the razor phone. DO NOT choose Cingular because there is like no coverage in alot of cities so it depends. VERIZON has really good family plans as well. I would choose VERIZON.

Get awesome clothes that people will see everyday ( and last longer) or get the new FAD of a cell phone that no one will really see or care about other than some friends. Clothes for sure! Phones break and new ones are always coming, esp at cheaper prices!

It would be nice to know where you are located to better answer this question. If you are in Canada it would be Rogers, no question.
