when i go on to google search and enter a subject in there is always a history of my past searches how can i get rid of this, i hav firefox, i know you go into internet options and i hav un marked the box that says "remember what i enter in forms and search bar" but if i turn this back on then the past searches are still there, i hav tried clearing these but it wont. any ideas anyone?

install google toolbar and when its installed youll see a G and a arrow next to it click on the arrow and at the bottom it will say clear history

On the top left of the Google toobar is the Google word in color. left click on the word. A bunch of stuff comes down and click on "clear search history. then go to the google search page type in a common letter or word that you have searched before you will see all the old searchs arrow down to each one and highlight it and hit delete.

If you are using the search box up in the upper right hand corner of the browser, you simply right click on any blank space in the box and scroll down to "clear search history." Otherwise, you can delete Google's cookie on your browser.

to my knowlege you cant delete it off google but you can delete it from your browser (google doesnt store your history anyways) in firefox goto tools and clear private data or in internet explorer goto tools options and clear history but doing these two methods can arouse suspision as well as they delete everything another way is to open your history tab in ie find the site you want rid of and right click and delete. this will leave all the other dat intact and will not arouse suspition

There is no way to turn off history in Chrome. You can only clear the history : history > edit items > clear all browsing data. You can delete the history when you need but cannot turn it off. Nothing can help. Sorry.

Just scroll down to the bottom and click on 'Clear History'. Sorted.

when you get the drop down of the history just highlight what you want to remove and hit the delete button
