NO WAY!!! I got the crap beat out of me everyday, until I was big enough to realize that I could take my mom in a fair fight, but the b*tch never told me she loved me, she just punched, kicked, scratched and threw heavy objects

I prefer guilt trips, I can cry on command, and it seems to be much more effective than inflicting pain on the person I love more than anything else in this world

No I don't hit my son. But if I did, I wouldn't use that line. I don't know what I would say. Probably nothing. My parents never did. They just hit me and that was that.

No I don't hit my kids at all. We do the time outs and taking away items. I don't believe in spanking or hitting at all.

That line is for sick "parents" that need to excuse their own behavior to satisfy their guilty conscious (sp?). You hit out of anger. Period. No one says "I love you" bam. Please.
