I haven't played XBox for almost a year. I've had a lot of projects to do and I felt that if I had time to play videogames then I had time to work on those projects instead. Now that one of them's on hold I decided to play X-Men Legends II that I got a long time ago. I enjoyed the first one immensely and this one is just as good, but I'm starting to feel like playing this game is a chore. No other games are looking any better to me, either.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?!?!?!?

You're getting older bud. I haven't wanted to play one of those long winded adventure games in years.

To me, the only games that hold any interest nowadays are the ones I can play head to head against someone else, for a short period of time like an hour. Head to head games involving some battle and some strategy are the best. Unfortunately, there are precious few games like that out there these days.

Everything out there now seems to be games that take days to play.

I think there's a market out there for some company to put out games like Archon, Space Wars, and other short games so you can go to a site, meet your friend, and play a few short games. Wouldn't you like to drive a tank around a maze looking for your friend (enemy) and take him out, while chatting with him (voice)?

The only sites that do this always seem to offer crap like Chess or checkers or card games.

First of all, some people just grow away from them. Second of all, videogames are becoming like holidays... so much anticipation and hype that it seems to blow it up bigger than it really is. If you're upset about it... get back to your roots and just enjoy the games for what they are, and not what you think they should have been. It gets old fast, but every once in a while I like to put my emulators back on the old PC and play Metroid or some other classic. Maybe if you dip back into the old stuff, the new stuff will seem better.

Nothing is wrong with you, man I've stopped playing video games years and years ago.....Very seldom do I play a game or two but as far as playing playing, nah, I do not do that. I guess its because nowadays I am trying to make money instead of giving it all away on the games and being at home doing nothing all day

The Nintendo Wii looks awesome. They've rejuvenated the way we play games. Graphics aren't everything.

It eventually happens for some people, sooner or later, but just try some better games, ask some people at a GameStop or something whats good.

Sadly, you have grown up. Peter Pan lost the ability to fly and you have found more interesting, challenging and stimulating things to do with your time than sit numbly in front of a screen pushing buttons. This is GOOD! CELEBRATE your growth!
