First your TV must have A/V (audio video) input. The red and white plugs are normally used for the audio.
If your computer has an audio out/speaker out with this type of
plug then simply connect the two and set the TV to the A/V input
The computer's audio will play on the TV.

If your TV only has an antenna input then you will need some type of conveter an old VRC works great. Hook up the wires from the computer to the audio input of the VCR and take the antenna out to the TV. (You will need an RF cable - one probably came with the VCR) Set the TV on the VCR's output channel normally 3 or 4 and the VCR's input to A/V.

This is really strange that u ask this because i personally have my computer hooked up to my tv. Well to do this u need to go to radio shack and get a cord that has a headphone jack on one end and the three colors on the other end. Then you hook the headphone jack to the part on your computer that is actually the spot for your computer speakers. ( What i mean is the little spot on your tower where if u wanted to hook up your speakers you would put that there). Then you take the other end and hook it to the tv with the red yellow and white all in their matching places. If u need any other help please email me i will be glad to help you.

Sound cards and onboard sound jacks on all PC's are 1/8" earphone plug size jacks. You have to get an adapter from the single 1/8" plug on the pc to go out to red and white audio. Yellow is not required. It's far simpler to buy new speakers than to hunt this adapter down although I know for a fact it exists. Try Radio Shack. Best to spend $15 on some new speakers.

First, you have to have a video card which supports regular television connections. If you don't and try to plug in your t.v. you could blow out your video card. The better method would be to go out and buy some cheap speakers, and hook them up instead and continue to use your computer monitor.

Check to see if your video card supports adding a t.v. by right clicking on the desktop, selecting Properties. When the Display Properties dialog box comes up click on the Settings Tab, then click on Advanced. Your video cards setting will come up in a new dialog box, click on the Monitors Tab. If you have a listing for a t.v. then you are able to hook up a t.v. to your computer, if a t.v. option is not listed then you are out of luck.

If a t.v. is listed then open up your owner's manual, which should have a shortcut to it on your desktop. Go to the section which tells you how to hook up a t..v. or if you have the Media Edition 2005 OS, open up your Media Edition Manual and look in there for instructions. Usually you have a few options for hooking up a t.v. IF it is supported by your video card. S video, composite video and another I am unable to remember at the moment. You can also click on Help at the bottom of the screen which shows which types of displays you can hook up to your video card.

Good luck and I hope you get things worked out soon.
