it's hard to say since i dont know ur musical preference. i put many of my students onto fender solid state amps like the princeton 65. it sounds great, its reliable, and you can find them very cheap. good luck!

depends on the size room your in. a fender fm212 or a crate 212 is good for small/medium sized room. dont expect a powerhouse but it works.
