I think you might be in the UK?
Buy a copy of the "Earth Story " DVD. It is one of the best things the BBC has ever produced, It shows how the earth works, showing all that we have learnt about it over the last 100 years ( more especially after the Second World War, when the ocean floor was mapped and we used seismic detectors to check for Russian nuclear testing ) Even if you know nothing about science it is dead easy to follow. Then the only colour of the rainbow you will go is red with embarrassment when you realise what a load of old tosh the book of Genesis really is!

Why all the abusive answers? The story of Noah is a good story whether you believe it to be true or not. The asker of this question was meerly getting you to think of aspects of nature to match the colours in the visable spectrum which is shown in the rainbow. The colours might not be exact, there may be shades in between, but there still are seven main colours. Whether or not you beleive in God, the world is still a wonderful, colourful place. Appreciate the colours around you and be glad you are here and have eyes to see them.

The seven colours in the rainbow is also make believe. It was only devised at the time because people believed there was something "special" about the number seven. I'm not saying that there aren't different colours in the rainbow, but the seven colours (in prisms also) was an idea that scientists at the time used in order to further cement sevens specialness. I'm not sure how many colour there are precisly though I believe it is less.
