The best Zelda game in my opinion is the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on SNES. I haven't played the one on Wii yet, because I do not have the system.
As for Final Fantasy I like FFVII, it was the first with the amazing cut-scene..and Cloud is still my fav. character.

though i hear VII is better. sadly, i have never played it.
