on Thanksgiving day, the magician/stuntman will be strapped into a gyroscope that is suspended 40-feet above New York’s Times Square. The gyroscope, with three spinning steel rings, will flip Blaine in assorted directions as often as eight times per minute. Blaine has until Friday morning (16 hours) to shed his shackles in the spinning scope. and on thanksgiving day is the big Macys day parade so he is probably choosing to do this for publicity

The performer stands as a fashion to be considered from the side. below disguise, the performer's foot is slipped out and placed at a precise perspective to that shoe, with the heel of the foot placed against the side of the shoe. After the obstruction is bumped off, the front of the performer's physique might nicely be seen. From the spectator's perspective it extremely is impossible to tell that the performer's foot is out, for the reason it extremely is hidden by utilising the leg closest to the visitors. The performer's weight is shifted to the leg, and the empty shoe is pinched between the angled foot and the shoe closet to the objective industry. The performer stands on the top of the foot. lower back, the foot maintains to be hidden at the back of the footwear, that are the two bodily interior the air, becoming the real levitation. to end the end result the technique is only reversed. the main to this phantasm is that the spectators assume that there is a foot interior the shoe, that's barely organic. while the two footwear are seen above the floor, it extremely is then assumed that the two ft are above the floor, and the performer is levitating. word that an obstruction is in general used to disguise the performer's action of removing, and changing the foot in its shoe. it extremely is achieveable even if to accomplish the end result without ever masking the legs, by utilising utilising misdirection.

This particular stunt of his is for charity. If he can get himself out of the gyroscope thing that he is in and safely on the ground in a certain about of time (5 days, I think) then a bunch of underpriveledged children will get to go on a shopping spree at Target. I'm not a huge fan of his but I think he's doing a good thing right now.

I think he has to get out of shackles before the time runs out.
If it runs out, he drops 5 stories or something like that.
I really love his street magic, but all this other "grand standing" stuff isn't that entertaining to me.

Probably something ridiculously stupid, as usual.
I stopped paying attention to that guy after he made a HUGE deal about spending however-many minutes underwater in that huge glass thing... and then didn't even beat the record.
He needs to find something else to do with his time.

I don't know the point of what he is doing but I know why he is doing it. He's doing it for underprivileged children. If he does the trick these children get to shop for stuff for free.

He's an illusionist, as you know. They all try to "cheat death" at some point. I say one day he's going to go too far; he may meet it before he wants to.
