I was going to say stress but if you are not stressed than that couldnt be it. Early menopause could be the issue. Its unusual but not impossible.

5 years ago, I stopped birth control and had my tubes tied. I started experiencing what you describe. I was scared to death that I might have a tubal pregnancy but did not. BTW--I was 30 at that time also. One evening, I developed a horrible pain below and ended up in the hospital for a few days. Came to discover that I had an ovarian cyst and it was causing the same symptoms you have stated. Most of the time, they will eventually disperse. But mine had hung around, became part of the ovary, truncated ovary and it was dying off. I did not know at the time that my life was in jeopardy. They removed the right ovary. Anyways, birth control pills keep from ovarian cysts happening, therefore, people not on them are likely to form them. The doctor can do an ultrasound to see if one has formed quickly. Medications like Vicodin and/or anti-inflammatory can help dissolve it. Not trying to scare you, just do not want a person suffering. The truncating and dead ovary part is a rare case. God bless.

Oh boy....I went 3 months without one, and it turns out I was severe hypothyroid.
Go get checked. Being hypothyroid if you get pregnant can cause pre-eclampsia, which I too had this year when I had my baby. Nothing to mess with.
Sometimes people with hypoth. have other symptoms, like hair falling out, no energy, low immunity to common illnesses, rapid, unexplained weight gain, dry skin, intolerance to cold etc.
Also...you could have PCOS...polycystic ovary syndrome. are you overweight? Many times that can go away just by losing some weight.
You can still get pregnant if you have hypoth....you just have to take medication and you will be fine.
Possibly your tubes are blocked? Let's hope not. You'd have to have a hysterosalpingogram, which is not fun. I'll let the doc tell you about that one.

Have you been on any type of birth control recently? Did you ever get the depo shot? There are many unknown things that can cause your periods to be wacky. My cycles have been 60 days sometimes. But I just got off of Depo about 6 months ago.

It is possible that you are experiencing peri-menopause. Have your doctor do a test to determine your estrogen levels. The test will not affect your fertility. If it is found that you have a hormone imbalance, HRT could affect fertility. Discuss this with your doctor.

You need to talk to your doc. Those home tests are not always accurate. you may have hidden stresses you don't feel like trying to get pregnant. Lack of sleep, not enough exercise or overweight people are not always regular.
