One thing I can think of that might be a problem is that she might get used to the bottle. Some baby's will prefer the flow of the bottle and become "lazy" and not want to work so hard at the breast. When you get back, don't give in if she seems to get frustrated with bfing and give her a bottle. Eventually she will take it like she normally did. Try not to worry and have a safe trip.

Wow, I dont suppose not going is not an option. Very tough. Maybe leave your pjs or something that you have worn or been in contact with (blanket etc) that the grandparents can use when feeding her so she still has your smell to be familiar with when they are feeding her. My husband travels for his job and I would use a tshirt to sometimes cuddle the baby with so daddy didnt seem so unfamiliar when he got home.
I am sure she will just be thrilled when you get home and go right back to nursing. Make sure you are pumping frequently while you are gone to keep your supply up. You might want to consider taking Fenugreek supplements to insure your supply doesnt diminish. Pumping doesnt stimulate and empty the breast the same way as nursing does.
Good Luck!

My sister left her kids with our parents while she went on a business trip. Even though she froze her b.milk it went bad and her son wouldn't take it (I don't remember how old he was at the time, maybe 9 months?). So my folks had to buy some formula and they gave that to him instead. (Just some background: my mom's a nurse and had 5 of her own kids, so she was a good judge on the spoiled milk issue.) When my sis came back her son was right back on the breast with no issues.
So if I were you I would have some formula on hand. I don't think your baby will wean herself in just 5 days. But you will have to pump to keep your supply up while you're away.

Make sure you get time throughout the day to pump so your supply doesnt dip too much... and after that I think it just depends on your baby if she finds the bottle trumps mommy on your return. Some babies have no issues with a separation, and others lose interest after just a few days as the bottle is so much easier. I hope things go well for you!

Pack your breast pump, and make sure that you pump while you are gone. Your little one will take longer than 5 days to wean. Go on your trip and have as much fun as you can without worrying about your little one. As long as you pump while you are gone, your milk supply will stay up to par for what she needs, and you cna always freeze what you express for the next time you may need to go away from business,

No just make sure you continue to pump while you are away I know it really sucks wasting all that good breast milk and having to just dump it .But it will be worth it when you get back and you can still nurse her and have the milk to do so.
