I ask this question bcz I find females mostly Indians has strong resevation on it!!! But why? I told one of my friend that, If thousand of people can see u in the roads , what is the problem with ur friend? whom u accept as friend!!! My logic is, I can't worship a Idol with out imiganation; how can I accept a true friend with out viewing or have an true sketch of her?

I think it takes quite some time before you can actually trust someone and give him/her your picture. I know not all, but many people use the Net just as a medium of fun and real friendship is hard to find. After seeing a photo, some guys might start saying 'oh you're so beautiful' and 'I think I'm in love with you' etc etc. Ok, so maybe he's honest, but mostly, I think it just a stupid way of having fun. However, you have a point when you say that everyone is seen on the roads too and it's quite logical to have an image of your friend...need to think about that...

Different people have different reasons for not putting their pictures up. My reason is because I am physically handicapped, and I don't want anyone having an opportunity to make fun of me.
