37 wpm isn't bad at all for a 12 year old.
However, you also need to consider your mistakes. If your accuracy needs improvement, concentrate on that, not your speed. The more accurate you begin to type; the faster you will find your speed.
Just keep practicing! You're doing great!

37 WPM is not all that bad. To the heart girl... are you typing real words, or do you use teenage jargon and abbreviations? Because misspellings and abbreviations do not count as words. I am 26 and I type 50 WPM, and I type ALL DAY LONG.... and not on answers all day. And none on myspace.
