I'll be fine.. What he did was extra wrong, but someone pointed out to me that we (all who were offended) need to stop reacting to the use of the word cause it makes the ones using it feel powerful, like they won something. I was going to put my Seinfeld DVDs up on eBay, but then I decided that this fool is not going to take away my favorite show. After all I love Elaine, Jerry and George. Kramer is not Michael Richards.. Yeah he is a big racist but there are plenty of them out there judging from some of the caucasian reaction to this incident. So, I am not going to lose sleep over his ignorance and I am not going stop enjoying my show. Enough is enough.. Done with feeding into the race machine.
I may not be watching it until I calm down from the anger and shock, but eventually, I'll watch again, its Jerry's show not Michael Richards show.

Why should the actions of Michael cast aspersions on Seinfeld shows? it is toally unrelated. Was he being Kramer when he said those bad things? No. Did he have any Seinfeld stuff near him when he was racist? No. Stop connecting it to Seinfeld.

Honestly, I think everyone is taken aback by Mr. Richard's comments. But I think it is merely being offended for offense's sake to drop watching a great show like "Seinfeld". I personally love comedians like Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock. They are VERY anti-white in their comedy, but I choose to look past that. I can't tell you how many times I've heard them say the word "cracker" in an attempt to demoralize whites for comedy's sake. If you purpose in yourself to get over it, you can, plain and simple. Just my 2 cents, though.

I thought many black people hated Seinfeld anyway because there were so few African Americans portrayed on the show?
Michael Richards did apologize. We all say stupid things sometimes in anger, sometimes things we don't even mean.

I watched it last night. Granted, Kramer wasn't really in the episode, but I still couldn't help but think about what happened. I still like the show, but I wouldn't support Michael Richards in anything he does in the future.

Unfortunately not!! I used to LOVE that show. When it came on last night, I couldn't watch it cause I knew I just wouldn't enjoy it. I know its just a show and they are just characters but when I know too much about the people playing the characters its hard too look past it.

I've only seen two episode of Seinfeld in my lifetime. The lack of diversity turned me off from the beginning. I knew my insticts were correct!!

He is obviously an idiot, but I have said things I didn't mean either in the heat of anger. I will still enjoy the show.

I will never watch Seinfeld again. I think we should start a petition to ban it. It is NOT okay to think differently than we do.
