The problem is that you committed a second offense, and you were on probation.
It all depends on the judge, and how forcefully your lawyer (if you have one) can argue and convince the judge that the forgeries were related to your meth addiction, but that now you are clean.
Another minor problem is that you did not admit your meth addiction for your first offense. The prosecutor could argue that you are using the meth addiction as an excuse for your second crime.
It is a tough one. My guess is that you could get a suspended sentence, meaning that if you break the law again during the probation, you will go to prison for the term that was suspended.
Because you have a job and you are clean, the judge might order you to go to jail on weekends. This seems like the most likely scenario, particularly if you do not have a long criminal record, and if you do not have a violent past.
If you do not have an attorney, request that an attorney be assigned to you at your sentencing hearing.

I am very surprised that they haven't already revoked your probation and sent you to prison for the first offense you were convicted of in March. Being charged again in July for the exact same crime could put the label on you as "habitual" and you will do time no matter how hard you try to show them you are do everything you can to change. It sounds like you are really working hard to turn your life around, and win, lose or draw, you should be commended for that. I hope things go your way in December.

Get the best lawyer you can afford, line up personal character witnesses and pray for a Judge who will see the case your way. Good Luck and stay clean.... no matter what the outcome of your case.

Unfortunately it will depend on the judge if you go to jail or not. You have done everything in your power to get yourself together and maybe the judge will see that.
Good Luck

There are numerous people who would make fun of the possibility of changing their destinies. This is because it believes that no one gets more that what is put in his fate.
