No, sometimes it might be something like getting different BM's or vomitting, not just the allergic reactions. You should ALWAYS wait at least 3-4 days before introducing a new food until they are around one. We got laxed on it around 9 months and gave her a couple new things while we were out and sure enough, something gave her a rash and made her aweful fussy, but we didn't know what it was! It didn't show up until about 48 hours after she ate the new things.

You should wait. Even if the baby is fine the first time you feed her the bananas, you should make sure to give it to her a couple more times just to be sure. It can take a couple times of eating one thing before the body figures out what it likes and doesn't like and then have it's reaction.

You are supposed to wait 1 week before introducing a new food. Some symptoms could be delayed and it would be so hard if a symptom did occur and you had already given three different things and you wouldn't know which it was. Good luck!

you actually should wait a few days before letting her try something else. sometimes allergic reactions are delayed, so it is best to wait a few days so that the cause of her allergic reaction doesnt get confused.

Even though I breastfeed my son, I was terrified about any alergic reactions when I intoduced new foods. I made my Grand Parents & my own Mother write down what time he he had ate, how much & which food it was. After a couple new foods were eaten & no reactions I kinda backed off.
Allowing a couple days inbetween new foods & keeping track of your baby's food will help you out. Good luck.

Actually some food allergies can take up to 72 hours to show up. Strawberries and tomatoes are big offenders as well as lactose.
I know it seems like your daughter will be fine and most likely that's true. But, it's always best to err on the side of caution when it comes to the little ones.

sometimes a allergic reaction doesn't show up for 48 hours, It is so you don't introduce a few items ontop of each other and don't know which one caused the reaction.
