I want him to go, and he would like to too, but he lives in a rehab right now and isn't able to leave. My family celebrates the kids birthdays on Thanksgiving, so I am not going to make them miss out.

Rent "It's a Wonderful Life". It's very uplifting! One year, I was bumming out because it rained almost the entire month of June and all my friends were away. That just happened to come on TV and I felt 100% better! :D

"Home for the Holidays" with Holly Hunter and Robert Downey, Jr.

I would also recommend "The Fifth Element" "Serenity" and "Dodgeball"

Why does he get to stay home and watch movies? If he's home, he should be watching football anyways.
