My employer has multiple pay rates for workers doing exctly the same and equal work. Only diffeence is that they pay the 5day a week worker substantially more per hour than the 3day per week one. Both positions are with benefits and are scheduled positions.
The workers are of the same sex, workload etc is equal as are the other medical benefits. They are just trying to force a labor staff of "full time" 5 day weekers (without regard to family needs or restrictions.) Is this legal under the equal pay act ??
