It usually takes a week or two for test to recognize it. Try using First Response as that's picks it up earlier, or speak to your doctor!

NO. You more than likely wouldn't have implanted yet.
The tests that claim they can detect pregnancy earlier are actually just as sensitive as most of the tests already on the market (25mIU) so don't waste your money. Every pregnancy is different so every pregnancy is detectable at different times--it all depends on when you implant and how fast your hCG level rise.
Unfortunately you have to wait until your period is late. The earliest I have heard a woman getting an extremely faint positive is 8 days past ovulation--which is very rare.

There are pregnancy test you can buy now that detect the pregnancy hormone 3 days before your missed period, so if you were going to buy a pregnancy test make sure you buy an early detection pregnancy test..
check this site out
http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/pregnancytests.html
this test is capable of detecting hCG as early as six to eight days after conception

You could use first response. It detects the pregnangy hormones first. Although the best way is to get a blood test done by your doctor, to know for sure.

Not really. You can't get a definitive pregnancy test result until after your period is due - so wait until a few days after you are due to 'come on' then do a pregnancy test.
